SwimBC/SNC Registration are fees each swimmer pays for registration and insurance with SwimBC and Swimming Canada (SNC). These are paid along with your 1st installment Fees upon registration. SwimBC/SNC Registration fees are fixed by our governing bodies. **International/Non-Competitive SwimBC is ONLY an option for SD69 registered International Students wishing to continue their competitive swim training; allows for ONE sanctioned meet/season ONLY. Int’l students in non-competitive select 3 training sessions/week ONLY. Please see below for more details.

Annual Dues* are divided into 10 equal installment payments between registration in September and June 1st. Annual Dues are pro-rated when a swimmer joins later in the season. This fee takes into consideration all local training camps, long course practices (by invitation of Head Coach), public holidays, club’s attendance at 3-day swim meets, and all breaks. This is NOT a monthly fee, but rather your Annual amount divided into 10 equal installments so that they are easier for families to cover.

*does not include sibling discount 10%; will be applied after registration;

See RAC Parent Handbook for more details on discounts.

Fundraising Commitment As per our RAC Parent Handbook, it is expected each family supports our club in the form of Fundraising Commitments each swim season. Fundraising is the main revenue source for our club and helps us keep our fees as affordable as possible. For the 2024-2025 season, at minimum, each swimmer is required to attend *2 bottle drives. One in the Fall being held on October 20/2024 (worth $100 commitment/ swimmer if not attended) and another bottle drive in the Spring(worth $100 commitment/ swimmer if not attended). A minimum $100/swimmer (max $200/family commitment with multiple swimmers) in *Raffle Ticket Sales. Additionally, raise or contribute $100/swimmer (max charge of $200/family with multiple swimmers) towards the *Annual Swim Challenge (formerly known as the Swimathon) held in January/February. For each Fundraising Commitment not met a $100 will be charged to your swimmer’s individual account. More details are in the RAC Parent Handbook. It is also expected families will attend/participate in other club-wide fundraisers as determined by the board. All club fundraising efforts go towards the financial sustainability of the club. If you have any questions about fundraising commitments, please contact our fundraising chair (racfundraisers@gmail.com) or our parent liaison (ravensong.contact@gmail.com)

Individual & Optional Fundraising each season the club will also run optional club and optional individual fundraisers to support the club and offer opportunities for families to reduce their individual fees. These are run at the discretion of the board.

*International Students RAC welcomes SD69 International students at a discounted rate. Swimmers must try-out and be eligible for either Silver, Gold or Platinum squads.This option is being provided for those international student swimmers who wish to continue their competitive training while away from their home club. In consultation with the Head Coach, international swimmers select three (3) training sessions/week to attend. Annual dues are discounted to $200/installment due on the 1st of each month. The Fundraising Commitment of attendance at each bottle drive, SwimBC/SNC and Club Membership fees are still applicable. Other fundraising commitments are waived. Non-competitive SwimBC rates apply. Non-competitive registration permits attendance at ONE swim meet/year (Sept-June). Non-competitive is only an option for registered International Students with SD69 (KSS/BSS). Swimmers must have prior approval to register as International Swimmer Squad. Should an International Student swimmer wish to compete in more meets OR prefers to train more than 3x/week, they would need to join the main club with corresponding dues and commitments. Approximate age: 14+
